Gleaning Trips

To protect our community from the spread of COVID-19, Boston Area Gleaners has implemented a number of new safety protocols for the 2020 season. This includes the suspension of volunteer carpools for the time being. Please visit our Volunteer Information Page on our website to review safety practices and learn more.

Before signing up for a gleaning trip, please be sure that you have completed the New Volunteer Registration Form. If you have already registered and/or are a returning volunteer, you do not need to register again--simply sign up using your full name as registered. If you plan to glean as a group, please register each person separately.

To review or cancel your current signups, visit your Volunteer Profile Page

Description: Drop in on a virtual yoga class! BAG is offering these classes freely so they may be of benefit to anyone with interest and a computer.

Tess Tomlinson, RYT 500 certified yoga teacher, will invite self study by offering a practice of guided and free-form stillness and movement. We might call on loosely termed 'props' - walls, pillows, dressers, bathrobe ties and actual bricks are just a few of the creative supports we've seen. A link to join the Zoom call will come in the post-sign up confirmation email. You will need to download Zoom on your computer or phone to join the call. The call will be open at 8:00 to allow folks some time to settle before we get started. Practice will begin at 8:15 am.
